Street Cred

Which bands, due to their popularity or the people who liked them, did you turn your nose up to and, years later, actually come to appreciate?

I HATED Sublime. Despised "Santeria" the 73 times a day I would hear it on the radio when I was younger. Turns out, they're pretty fricking good. Dave Matthews Band, couldn't stand them or the preppy fricks who liked them....turns out, I really dig a lot of their stuff now that I've revisited it.

Another would be Widespread Panic but I've kind of gone full circle on them. Hated them, liked them, saw them live with the nasty arse crowd and hated them again.
