Crackerman and Vasoline. At their peak.

Enjoy

I saw them on this tour at the State Palace Theater in New Orleans. To this date one of the best non-metal shows I have been to. Weiland was just out of jail & on fire at that time. I miss shows at the State Palace.

They were on point about that time. I had forgotten how incredibly good they were in their prime.

Shangri La Dee Da (2001) is a very underrated album. Coma, Hello It's Late, Dumb Love, Transmissions From A Lonely Room are all fine songs.

I will check that one out. I kind of tuned out on them in the late Nineties but with Weiland dying I have renewed my listening and found some gems I was unaware of. I always liked all of the early Nineties bands but seemed to gravitate more toward Nirvana and STP at the time. I have come to really enjoy Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam as I have listened to them more in depth over the past couple of years.

I was there. One of my favorite shows I've been to.

I was at the State Palace show, as well as, their show at UNO in May of 97 and it was like 2 different shows. Scott was in another world in 97, so drugged he had no energy and just stared into space, at the State Palace Show he was shimmying all over the stage and it was classic Scott from start to finish.

They were great at Voodoo as well!

I was at that show, also. I saw the Offspring, Seether, and a few other shows at the State Palace Theater. The place was a dump, but there was not a bad seat in the house. A few times I thought the balcony was gonna collapse. Miss it.

So, you don't know who Stone Temple Pilots are/were, and I have never heard of sts9. Kind of a push here, eh?
