Shadrack Chameleon - " Don't Let It Get You Down"

Supposedly only 300 copies of this Iowa band's album were pressed.

Great song. Very Blondie-esque.

Move over, Shad.

Allegedly only 100 copies of this were pressed, and most of those were thrown out when a member's mother cleaned out his room.

Index - "Fire Eyes"

The Hollywood Brats - "Sick On You" (recorded 1973)

English band who sounded -- and dressed -- a lot like The New York Dolls, but weren't even that successful. They cut an album but it went unreleased for years.

The Gosdin Brothers - "One Hundred Years From Now" (1966)

If not the first country-rock single, it's mighty dang close. Guitar by the legendary Clarence White.
