So Muse has composed the official song for the 2012 Olympics...

I saw/heard this today. Instrumentation (and guitar) is pretty damn nice. Lyrics are crap/cheese, but pretty much expected as it is an 'Olympic Anthem', and I think that's required in this case. It's cheese, but Muse cheese...which is 1000x better than the magic rainbow song featured so often during Bejing...and nowhere near as cheesy as Whitney's "one moment in time" back in the day, because at least Muse is a bit tongue in check with the over the topness.

Edited to add: I love that photo with the torch. I just love those guys.
