Summer of 1971, I was 16 and in the backseat of a 1969 Mercury Marquis land yacht looking at a set of real boobs for the first time in my life. "Joy to the World" was playing on the AM radio, thinking about it later the song seemed very appropriate.

I remember my Dad telling me that it was so cold "it's a three dog night" and explaining the name of the band to me when I was like 7.

Lol......I had an Electra 225 land yacht and pretty much had the same experience. Saw TDN 2-3 times at Monroe Civic Center.... they packed the house.

We saw them with the Houston Symphony Orchestra a couple of years ago-fun times and the guys put on fun show.
