Well, obviously they can, but for whatever their reasons, they don't. I kinda understand. It would be weird hearing The Temples of Syrinx or Xanadu without Geddy's screech, which despite how much some people hate his voice, I've loved it since the first time I heard a Rush song.

They were on the cover of the last Rolling Stone. Geddy explains himself much better than I can secondhand. If you're a fan, I strongly suggest you check it out.

Can you imagine being a journalist who grew up loving Rush, getting to sit in on their tour rehearsals and smoke joints with Alex after the shows? I was one jealous mofo reading that article.
