RIP Jason "Rowdy" Cope

Rowdy Cope guitar player for the Steel Woods passed away on Saturday. I've seen them several times open for Blackberry Smoke and Cody Jinks. He was always cordial in addition to being an excellent guitar player. RIP Rowdy

I was sad when I heard about this. I have seen Jamey Johnson 4 times. Got a chance to talk with Rowdy for a little bit after a show in Houston. He was extremely nice and seemed like a great guy. RIP.

Seemed like a really good dude. And definitely was a great guitar player. I know he had taken some time off from the band a couple years ago. Anyone know what happened?
