It could just be a phenomenon in my area, but I’ve noticed it for several years now. If I hear music being played by guys from their 30’s to their 70’s that most would consider classic rock, it’s usually Zeppelin, AC/DC, Skynyrd, or Seattle grunge era bands. I can’t ever remember someone listening to Guns ‘N Roses “Appetite for Destruction.”

Based on the popularity and influence of that record, I would expect to hear it being played much more. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I nuts?

They have 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify so I'd say they're pretty popular.
