Collaboration with Sonic Boom. Only a few listens in, but really enjoying it. Haven’t cared much for the most recent Panda Bear solo albums, but this one really hits. His best since Person Pitch IMO.

Recommend for Panda Bear/AC fans. Or Beach Boys fans. Or anyone that likes offbeat 50s/60s pop.

I’m enjoying it a lot. It’s like electronic Beach Boys. Pretty uplifting and unique.

I figured you would be into this one. I was going to make this same post but you beat me to it.

I’m really enjoying the album so far. “Livin’ in the after” may be my favorite.

I agree with this being his best since person pitch. I never got into his other solo work but IMO Panda Bear has the most potential out of the Animal Collective group. I’ve been waiting for him to pull it all together and put something out like Reset.

Phenomenal album. I was a huge fan of Grim Reaper too though. I’ve been trying to find the right time to really dig into this one. Love his sound

I put it on in the car as the gf and I drove around this weekend, and I enjoyed it. I am going to listen to it with headphones sometime this week. It seemed like the back half of the album is the best.

I think I like the 2nd half of the album better but the whole thing is excellent. I’ve had it on repeat since it came out.

Same here. Definitely one of my favorites of the year.

The opener, the closer and Edge of the Edge are probably my favorites, but not really a weak track here.

It's amazing how simple many of the songs are, but the vocals are such a huge instrument (same with Animal Collective) that really carry all the songs.

This is one of the best albums of the year IMO.

Agreed, it is firmly in my top 5 of the year. Chance to get up to 2 spot.

Listening to this on headphones. It's phenomenal. Best album I've heard in years. I feel like I've been waiting for an album like this for a long while.

I'm with you, I've really enjoyed it just listening front to back. I have noticed that it is muchly enhanced with a gummy or a smoke. I mean all music is, but this album in particular seems like you really should be blazed to enjoy it fully.
