I believe this amp will have to unpowered signal outputs one for a subwoofer and the other i believe is for a center channel.
I may be incorrect entirely. About the Center. Is there a decent powered center channel. I have a good powered sub that I will troubleshoot with the new amp or replace.
Never heard of an AVR with no powered Center channel output. Looking at a photo of the rear panel of the RX-V4A, I see a group of speaker terminals (i.e. powered by the AVR's internal amps for connecting to speakers) on the lower left that include the usual L/R, C, Surrounds etc. There is a Pre Out to the right of that with 2 Subwoofer outputs, but that's the only Pre (unpowered) outputs I see.
You will be fine.
