As much as i love Counting Crows, i've never really liked the song Round Here. Oddly enough, i actually enjoyed the live version you posted. 
But yeah, watching 2.5 hours of those antics would get old.
And yes, they do still tour. They played Mahalia Jackson Theater in Nola last November, and from the report I got, they played all the hits and it was one helluva show.
