"Let's Dance" by David Bowie. An essential video of the early MTV era. (Pics Included)

I recently visited the bar that was featured in the video. Even though I am not a huge Bowie fan, I have always wanted to go to that bar. After a visit to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW, my friends and I headed 3 hours west into the outback to reach Carinda, New South Wales. 20 miles of the journey was over a dirt road. On either side of the road were cattle ranches and wheat farms consisting of tens of thousands of acres. The town was so small, that the only businesses were the George's Carinda Hotel and the gas station or "servo" across the street. We stayed for an hour, had a couple beers, and headed back to Newcastle...a 6 1/2 hour journey. It was truly an adventure, and I'm glad I did it. Here are a few pics:
ETA: It was about 105-110 degrees outside. Australians don't use A/C like we do. MAN it was f'kin hot!!!
