I had heard on Friday about Dave and was processing over the weekend. I totally didn't think to come back here and post the new information because I really didn't want to believe it.
The last time I got to hang out with Dave was at the Bas Clas performance during Festivals International, I think in 2015.
Lafayette has missed him for quite some time but the loss will be especially hard felt now...

I started at USL Fall '94. Grant Street Dancehall was incredible. One of my favorite shows there was Fugees, saw Nas there, 311 & Phunk Junkeez was incredible. Sunday Mornings at Whiskey Bay Landing. Great bands on Fridays downtown at Downtown Alive. Just a very, very cool place to be for a 90s teen.
