Kids keyboard/ukulele lessons in the BR area

My 8 year old has recently started showing an interest in music, so we got him a keyboard for Christmas. His aunt got him a ukulele as well. So obviously the next step is lessons so he doesn’t get bored with them and lose interest immediately.
We’re in Prairieville, so seeing if anyone had and recommendations for in-person lessons in the area? Should we start with YouTube videos or ‘how to learn’ type of books? Neither my wife nor I have ever played any instruments, so I’m not sure how much help we could be at home.
Also, for the more musically inclined posters, are there any benefits to start learning one instrument over the other? He’s showing more interest in the ukulele, but for some reason I’m assuming the keyboard might be easier/more beneficial to pick up first. But I could be way off base with that!

Piano/Keyboard is the gateway instrument to me. Once you learn on that, all the other instruments just seem to make sense.
ETA: Ditch the ukulele and get the kid a guitar.

Listed in order of closest to Prairieville, check with Supermusic, School of Rock and Baton Rouge Music Studios. I do fretted repair/upgrade work for the teachers and students/parents at all three schools. All three have excellent piano/keyboard programs.
