Jimbo Mathus (Squirrel Nut Zippers) & Andrew Bird Collab - These 13

New album just came out today. I wasn't aware this was coming. I was a big Andrew Bird fan back in the day, but this is very different from what you normally hear from him. I've only listened to a couple of songs so far but am liking what I'm hearing.

Took this when they were at The Lyric Theatre a couple of years ago... crappy photo, but it gives you a little hint of his stage presence. He actually jumped up and balanced himself of that stand-up bass.

Thanks for sharing that. Just listened to the whole album. Really good !
Especially liked Stonewall (1863), but every song was good.

That song sounds a lot like what he did on Hands of Glory. Such a good album. The cover of Townes Van Zandt's If I Needed You on there is fantastic.
