to an acoustic guitar?
Would like to be able to get a resonator sound on my little parlor guitar. It plays so fast and slick. Sitting here messing around in a open G# tuning on it, and just thinking how great it would be, to have that sound.
I have a full size resonator guitar, but man, I just can't do the same things on it. This little skinny short neck is awesome.

Some of the modeling guitars have that as an optional output - however ambitious, the Line 6 "Variax" always seemed to generate the most issues with acoustic and resonator (including banjo) modelling.
As far as an effect pedal (or multi-effect unit) that will covert an acoustic input to resonator output - I think Tom Bradshaw used to have one specifically and exclusively for that. Otherwise, maybe dig around the Zoom and DOD sites - they seem to have a decent variety of products targeted to the acoustic player.

Electro-Harmonix has one, I think. Eventide's H9 has a resonator preset, I'm pretty sure. You can probably program a resonator effect from Hologram Electronics Infinite Jets pedal too. The Korg MS-20 has a resonator preset too that was cloned into a pedal by an Australian company whose name I can't remember off the top of my head. There are also some acoustic preamps that probably have a resonator preset.
To my knowledge there isn't a cheap pedal that has a resonator preset. You could possibly make your own through fiddling with an EQ and a dirty overdrive pedal like a Fulltone.
