Took it for a spin on the phonograph and do not concur. The album title reminded me of this song from The Idiot

It is the most complete Stooges album. I love the first one but it sounds like a freshman effort. Bowie and Iggy's production skills on Raw Power were lacking, even though the songs are great.
Considering the Stooges were the first punk band and Funhouse is their most complete album, Funhouse is a big deal. Love it.
