They started making them with a thermo cured top which ages the sound and looks better than mine IMO.

I've heard that they vary a lot since they're supposedly handmade but I'd put the one I have against any Martin I've owned.
The only thing I don't like about mine is the looks of the pickguard but I haven't been able to find one that matches up just right.
