Made my first visit to the Grand Ole Opry Friday night. Got to see John Conlee, Shenandoah, Ricky Skaggs, Gary Mule Deer, Marty Stuart, Mike Snider, and Brad Paisley among others. Really awesome experience, not the biggest Paisley fan but it pretty impressive how he juggles singing with guitar playing. Was really impressed with how good everyone sounded live, I'd say Paisley was the worse live singer that night. Easy to get in and out of the venue, pretty painless overall. Would do it again.

They broke it up into the bigger names, John Conlee, Ricky Skaggs, Brad Paisley, and Marty Stuart hosting 30 minute parts as well as performing a couple of songs themselves. Most of them only did 2 or 3 songs each so you got a good variety of music. Really speaks to the Opry as to how they can get someone like Brad Paisley out of the house on a Friday night to come out and play 2 songs.

Went a few months ago and really enjoyed it. The sound is great and they get top notch talent.

Really like Marty Stuart. Wish I could've seen the Sweetheart of the Rodeo tour he did last year w/McGuinn & Hillman

No doubt. Great atmosphere and all of the performers seemed thrilled to be there even though I'm sure they've played there often. Probably the best live show I've saw even though thats admittedly a small sample size. Also checked out the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It was okay but seemed a little expensive with really expensive parking because of the USWNT soccer game. No mention of legends like Alabama or Alan Jackson that I saw and only a suit of clothes from George Strait. Really underwhelming.
