The SO and I are heading to Houston for the evening to grab dinner and it would be nice to catch some good music somewhere.
Looking for a place for country or light rock. Maybe horns and pianos.
TIA

check the houston press ... they usually have a thorough listing of all the various venues and what's currently showing ...
edit: best bet for country blend with the possibility of horns or piano is the continental club ...

Tracy Byrd is playing the Dosey Doe in the Woodlands tonight. It is possibly the best venue acoustically anywhere in the city. Ticket prices might seem high, but you get dinner with the ticket (and it is pretty good)
Max Stalling is playing the Mucky Duck, another great venue.
