I’ve never gotten too into them, but Storm is my favorite of the ones that I’ve heard. From about the 3-8 minute mark (off my memory), Storm is an exceptionally beautiful song.

Yeah I’d say out of any of them Storm is my favorite as well. Their music reminds me of the artwork in the Denver airport

The whole Slow Riot for New Zero Kananda (both songs lol) is absolutely solid.

That’s just the buildup to the actual storm/revolution/uprising at 10:14 too

Yeah, it’s great once it gets there too.

Saw them a Mississippi Nights (RIP) probably 15 years ago. Great show. I think my ears are still ringing.

Since I’m working from home I jammed out to them all day, in this order listened to the full albums of

F# A# (infinity symbol)
Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven

It’s been a really long time since I’ve listed to a lot of that and I’d forgot just how good and different they are. Very cinematic and it’s definitely post rock so lots of great melodies and soft to loud buildups. If you’ve never listed to them start with Dead Flag Blues and go from there, hell I’d just give the whole F# A# (infinity symbol) album a listen straight through and then report back on how much you loved it.

Big fan of Motherfricker=Redeemer. All 21 minutes of it.

I was less of a fan of Yanquai than I was of their earlier stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it too, but it didn’t seem to have some of the magic that was on Slow Riot, Lift Your Skinny Fists, etc.

And apparently they have three more albums past that. I haven’t followed them too closely so I missed those. Going to give them a listen tomorrow I think.
