It looks to me like they are taking the Pearl Jam route and that real tickets can only be resold for face value through Ticketmaster.

yeah - I like that approach... but with no markup, its prob people that really intend on going.. good thing its a year off and a lot of people have change of plans, etc...

I got one in Pasadena. Was nuts. Must've clicked on 52 tickets.
Also there are shitloads of listings on stub hub, checked there to see how much they were. Not sure how how they're going to regulate scalping in the US.

I got in line at 4k wait and there were still plenty of tix left when I got in there... Im now kinda wishing I just got the 4 allotted, knowing it would sell out and I could get my $ back...
I flaked.. just too much pressure with this kinda ticket sale.. I'm used to going to club shows that very rarely sell out on day 1

They won't be real unless they are bought through Ticketmaster

Yeah I just kept clicking, I guess they were getting put in hold then released because plenty of times not even 1 was currently available. Going to Manchester with a buddy but wanted to take one of my kids or wife in the states. I'll just hold on to this one as it was cheaper and likely just sell it to a mega fan online who hasn't gotten a ticket. Don't really want to fly all the way to LA alone after going to Manchester.

I don't know how StubHub's guarantee works with this, but with TM tickets cannot be transferred/emailed/etc. The only thing you can do with them is put them back up for sale at the price you paid for them. They go back into the marketplace and anyone can get them, you cannot sell them to a specific person.

Pretty damn awesome if they are only allowing resales at face value. Would love it if more bands did this.
