Sorry. I shouldn't have been so vague. That was what the Australians we got into an argument with were saying. They were dogging on aborigines and saying all kind of racist shite about them. We said, "You sound a lot like racists in the US, in all honesty." They then proceeded to tell us how "their" blacks were totally different from "our" blacks for the quoted reasons, all of which were eyeroll-worthy and racist as well. Evidently they felt aborigines were worthy of scorn, but that African Americans were paragons of an oppressed people who had lifted themselves out of their bondage and found the promised land. serving as a model for how all people of color should behave.

I'm not sure it's totally germane to the TI defense of Iggy Azalea that I posted other than TI makes some weak arse statement that Iggy can't be racist toward African American culture because she's from Australia.
