Gotta respect a set list that is seemingly randomly picked out of a hat in regards to his various stages throughout the years and you come up with Things Have Changed, She Belongs To Me, Tangled Up In Blue, Simple Twist Of Fate, Forgetful Heart, Spirit On The Water, Blowin In The Wind, Beyond Here Lies Nothing...... and yet these numbers don't even make a dent in the canon of Dylan's work. He could pick out of a hat again and come up with Visions Of Johanna, To Ramona, Mr Tambourine Man, Abandoned Love, Hurricane, Trying To Get To Heaven, etc. Or he could blow everybody's mind and go through one of his albums in order. Can you imagine Blonde On Blonde, or Highway 61 Revisited played by the man who created those masterpieces? Ballad Of A Thin Man, Tombstone Blues, And Desolation Row all on the same set?! Bob Dylan is a legend emerged from a different era. It is always an honor to see him perform in whichever manner he damn well pleases. As someone has said of him, nobody else is even playing his game when it comes to oral tradition. He has made a most significant contribution in what is in my opinion the noblest act of man, the creation of art (which is: the highest form of human expression). "And I try to harmonize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings"-- from Gates Of Eden. "Someone had to reach for the rising star/ I guess it was up to me"-- from Up To Me.
