Does Tool’s “Sober” Have A Recording Flaw?

When I listen to this loud on Apple Music with my AirPods it sounds like someone is behind me trying to talk to me right around the 4:00 mark. Very weird and scared the crap out of me when I was cleaning the kitchen while home by myself last week.

Probably not a flaw but I know exactly what you’re talking about. Sounds like someone’s saying “Hey....HEY!”. But very muffled
