I enjoy almost anything musically rock, country and even the mellow stuff of the early-mid 70's, so I always liked Bread.

One day I went looking for live versions and stumbled across this 2003 song when David Gates put out a new album.

When I heard the lyrics I was blown away. Gates could craft a love song like no other.

I've always loved these lyrics from Thrice, "The Artist in the Ambulance." It's about someone in a car wreck, thought they died, but the EMT pulled them from the wreck and saved their life. The person is hoping that they can honor that EMT with how they live their life from that point. Really cool song.
