How was the setup from the factory? Does it feel like a good one? I know on the cheaper overseas models, they have come a long way with the technology now available for manufacturing. But it seems they can be a little hit or miss, but you hear stories of those that find the gems out there amongst the masses. Hope it is a good one.

So I got his guitar in today. It sounda nice for having ceramic pickups, but there is an issue. When I bend on certain spots, I feel a grinding type feeling. My guess is that the frets weren't polished good enough. I'm hoping that goes away with some use .
I had that issue on an old used Peavey Strat knockoff I bought way way back (used so no telling how old it really was) but the frets had some roughness to them so I filed them down just a tad and it ended up being a great throw around guitar to learn on.

Yeah the setup is pretty good. It plays real nice and the pickups are surprisingly good. I just think the frets need to be polished and then it will be good to good. Its surf green. I've always loved the pastel type colors on strats.
