from an old 4 track cassette recorder, to the computer? Will that work?
On top of that question, if I could transfer the tracks individually, onto recording software, could I remix/ manipulate them and add effects and add some parts or whatever?
I don't want to just plug it in and try it, I don't want to fry something.

I have several different ones, that I will have to dig out, but at least at a minimum, I can get them stored on the computer it looks like.
