I don’t mind bro country for the most part - I listen a lot to FGL, Hardy, Morgan Wallen. Wallen is good with happy hour and whiskey glasses. Hardy is excellent - he at least doesn’t sound cheesy like FGL do a lot. See his new album - boots
FGL is hit or miss - don’t like their pop stuff but speed of love is good.

Boyfriend country is awful - terrible lyrics and no instruments
Fwiw I like wallens cover of cover me up better than the original. That’s just a preference of mine though
