Guild has some good stuff new in the 450-750ish range.
Can't go wrong with a Taylor or Martin. The Gretsch Ranch series or whatever are phenomenal (the panda parlor atleast) and the other one I didn't buy but played (eagle maybe or raven).
ETA: Yamahas are severely underrated.
