They're both quite talented - I think Laura Lee (and Khruangbin) is a bit more polished/refined. I dig both though - caught Balthvs at a small church-turned-concert hall in Dallas back in '23, their rise has been impressive. They seem to tour and release music consistently.

I can agree with that. They both put out great music with the bonus being the attractivness of Laura lee and Johanna.
