I don't see this topic here much, just want to see who else is in the audio recording world...
Really interested to get some discussion going about gear, mix techniques, plugins, mics, preamps etc.

Checking in. I work more in the manufacturing of the equipment now, but have produced and mixed/mastered my fair share. More so in the dance music world, but I have recorded instruments as well.
What's your gear list look like? I'm working mostly in the box these days, but still have a decent amount of gear.

Cheers!
Been doing some recording for about 10 years now off and on, but just seriously got back into it about 3 years ago.
Here's some gear i'm using...
Presonus 24.4.2 StudioLive AI mixing board
Presonus Eureka channel strip
SM7b vocal mic
Rode NT1 Condenser mic
Various Sm 57's and 58's
KRK VXT 8 monitors
KRK 10 sub monitor
Presonus Eris 8 monitors
Furman power conditioner
Ominirax studio desk
Currently using Studio One 3 and Pro tools 12, but definitely prefer Studio one. Pro tools was what I started on but I just find that the workflow for Studio one is so much better.
Plugins
Steven Slate Drums
Steven Slate CLA drum presets
SSL Studio classics (includes all the SSL and API channel strips and compressors)
Slate Virtual Tape Machine
Slate Virtual Mix Rack (includes the Slate Virtual bus and Virtual Neve console channel strip)
Waves CLA bundle
Izotope Ozone 7 for final mastering
Presonus has some surprisingly nice plugins for synth and strings that comes with the new studio one program.
Instruments
Kemper Profiler guitar amp
Mesa Single rec
Marshal 4x10 cab
Gibson Les Paul
Fender American Strat
Fender '72 tele deluxe reissue
PRS Custom 24
PRS CE 24
Composite Acoustics GX
Taylor 214 Acoustic
Ibanez Acoustic
Custom made acoustic from a guitar builder
Fender Jazz Bass Geddy Lee Series
I record mostly rock / hardcore, but I've done a ton of pop, country and singer songwriter type artists too.
