The festival was awesome. I had been to the grounds for Wanee, but Hulaween is really on another level. There really weren't too many scheduling conflicts I came across, it just depended what you were in the mood for.

JRAD killed it on Thursday night & that was really all we saw that day except UM. GSB, Polish Ambassador, & the Benevento/Russo duo were all great. Nathaniel Radcliff provided a nice time to regroup at the campsite for the night to come. Lettuce sounded a lot different than when I last saw them, but it was better in my opinion. Bassnectar brought the house down once Cheese wrapped up. Say what you will about Bassnectar, but Lord Lorin is an entertainer

Cheese had 6 great sets, but the Theme set was pretty terrible. From what I've gathered, it was lackluster compared to last year. Poolside was frickign incredible, definitely a Top 5 set of the weekend. Bisco raged & Damian Marley was rowdy. Ween & Portugal. the Man sounded A LOT better than when I had seen them in the past. Hell, even the Silent Disco was lit.


Summary: Hula is pretty tite & I want to go back
