Any electronic drum kit players here?

Have about $800 to buy one. Went to guitar center on Florida the other day and they had one cheap model and then > $1k kits on display. Of course I played around on a $2k Roland. Big mistake, it was so. I've.
So what's a good kit for $800. Anywhere other than guitar center to play some?
