Just recently checked them out after seeing an ad on Facebook. Usually I go to Sputnik Music to see which album is, by consensus, the best. I really did enjoy "Welcome Home" which was their most popular song. But if I was to start listening to them, what album would be best to start out on in your opinion?

I disagree actually. The only album that I truly loved through and through was Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV

Just start with the release dates. They are all a little different. The production gets better. Listen first then check out armory wars so you know the story

Apollo I was my favorite but I really enjoyed the recent Ascension and Descension albums once I learned the story.

My personal order

Apollo I > Ascension/Descension > Keeping Secrets > no world for tomorrow > second stage > black rainbow (their worst effort IMO)
