I bought this CD years ago. He won the Tokyo International Music Festival in 1971 with the song Belle which starts at 18:48 of the attached link. Actually, the first 7 songs are outstanding live performances. The last 4 songs are a bit anti-climatic but the first seven have the effect of just making me happy as heck regardless of what mood I was in before. I recommend listening to the first 7 songs but Belle for sure. Any Al Green fan should give this a listen.

I appreciate the link. I guess I am to old(44) for this board or my music taste is to broad because it seems crazy to me that a thread on AG would draw so little interest. I started a thread on Tito Puente a couple weeks back that had zero replies ....and I understood that even though I figured there were at least a couple of Jazz /big band fans. But Al Green? Then I look at the individual thread titles and the bands they are discussing and realize this board is mainly the 18-30 age and the 30+ Year old Phish fan page.
