Because the podcasts and internet sites that would promote it are often dark on the weekend.

The Mandalorian dropped on Fridays, but at some point Disney decided they didn't want to compete with other services. Netflix would drop whole seasons to binge on Friday, Amazon drops Thursday evening. Disney moved to dropping on Wednesdays.
Moving to Tuesday means we're one day closer so I'm thrilled.
