There are some of us who are financially comfortable, but really don't go out of our way to let the whole world know about it. Money is important, but it is not an "end all", it is a means to an end. Clinicians, myself included, focus on our profession and let the money take care of itself. It's not as much about how much you make, as it is about how much you keep.

Thanks for all the answers. Reminds me why I loved the show so much. The bit about creating Wilson in his mind is a particularly interesting hypothesis I have never thought about (whoever said it). But most likely, he doesn't care about the same things us mere mortals care about or just making it all a puzzle.
Actually took all the hookers into consideration, however, he did get paid like 30k to get married ( month salary lol), but also bribe surgeons with his own money haha
