Why didn't Graceland catch on?

Started binge watching Graceland two weeks ago. This is a great show. Love all the crime investigating and how quick the group may turn on one another. But I wonder why it didn't stick. Maybe USA Network being why?

I liked the first season. I feel like it was a show they had a good idea for year 1 and then when they got picked up they just decided to send it

Season 1 was incredible. But yes. Things have gotten dirty for last two seasons, but at same time it's still a good storyline.
