Jessica was looking like a vixen at the bar but when the alcide sex scene came on at first, I thought it was Lillith he was screwing. It really was kinda pornish but I'm ok with that.

Another typical True Blood plot hole is how no explanation is given for how the Authority was able to go on a killing spree on Bourbon Street in front of thousands of people without there being news stories all over TV.

yeah noone seems to care that a whole wedding party at a bar got wiped out

it must be really fun to write for this show, there is absolutely no pressure to make it seem true or honest, they can just do whatever crazy shite they want

Lafayette is the best character on the show.

This Terry stuff is boring. He is too weak of a character to carry a storyline.

The show needs as much of Alcide new girl as possible.

This season has been hit and miss for me.

My negatives:

*I'm not digging the witch/medium stuff that made last season blow bleeding over into this season.

*The alternate dimension ferry club is retarded and I can't stand it.

*I'm not feeling the smoke monster/curse crap AT ALL. Every time the show cuts to that story line I just tune out.

The Vampire and werewolf storylines have been fantastic and it's only the smoke monster, witch/medium and ferry bar stuff is dragging this down from being the best season yet.

Every arc that is good this season is vampire or werewolf related (Pam/Tara, Russell coup, vamp that killed Sookie's folks, Jessica/Hoyt, Alcide and the Shreveport pack, etc.) The non vampire/werewolf arcs are dead weight.

If it means more of what I saw of Alcide last night, I think we've found a cause we can all get behind.

I think looking at the preview for next week, it gets addressed then. I'm not sure how much legit time actually passed in the episode with everything else they covered this week. When Bill and Salome fed on that girl she mentioned her as a late night snack which makes me think it was the same night in their timeline.

They all still had blood on thier mouths, so it could not have been but a few hours at most.

Interesting thought. But what the hell would she have been doing there?

And not much time passed - when Eric and Nora were in the chamber with Liliths blood thing he referred to "what we did tonight"

Are you saying Hoyt's mother may be in charge of that hate group??? I guess that's possible considering how much he hated Jessica..

It's certainly plausible for me. I would love to see her reaction when she finds that Hoyt still saved Jessica.

Oh and btw, did Hoyt just leave Jessica there after he saved her? I guess he felt that was just enough for him.

am on the record here and elsewhere that this show has fallen so far as to now be a parody of its former self, worth watching only to make fun of the ridiculous script and look at tits....
Sums up my thoughts on this show. I don't see how it can continue in such an aimless fashion. Probably be the last season for me one way or the other. Too bad.

I think it was light outside an jess couldn't leave.

I like the idea of the vamp being a fairy/goblin hybrid but it serves much better to the plotline to have russell an especially Bill end up being the vamp who killed Sookie's parents. But thrn again, the writers of this show no longer give a damn about plotlines, continuity or vampire rules....so it will probably end up being a vamp/goblin we never met

just watched on dvr last night...

the sookie shite is gay..the whole scene where hse was shooting the light out ot get rid of her powers was comical and showed me that they are struggling with a sookie storyline...hopefully she will get hooked back up with bill or eric cause that was way more entertaining...

alcide is carrying this show...dude is s stud and every woman i know that watches TB would have his babies..and the new shewolf is

russell edgington character is awesome even if he is bad but the whole authority BS is not really doing anythign for me..

and whats up with sam and sam?...that was terrible writing and acting..

Laffy was awesome but they need to let the Jesus shite die..

PAM!! and Arlene...those two are the best actresses on the show..

side note: i read that the directors and writers were shifting around all season which would explain why this season kinda seems all over the place...new people at the helm every week...I read an interview with ALan Ball and he discussed this...fun fact...thats what killed the Sopranos..IJS..

Really? I thought Sam Trammell was great as Luna as Sam. The way he was walking cracked me up.

He's not usually one of my faves on the show but every time he acts as a different person (like when his brother skin-shifted to him last season) I like him much better than plain ol' Sam.
