I know, I know. But I didn't know where else to start this thread. The OT?
But did anyone catch the reboot?
It was really a pretty entertaining show at one point, um, 15 years ago. The new series is pretty much the exact same show with the same cast . . . except now you have $2000 to play with.

did you see that room they did in burlap? they could've just painted that room the same color and saved a lot of money otherwise the room turned out nice overall

The only cool thing about the original series was that Hildi (decorator) was an insane person.
That's literally sand on the floor of a living room people are supposed to live in.

was talking to a potential hook-up about 15 years ago and she asked me what i was doing. my roommates and i were watching trading places with eddy murphy and i slipped up when she asked me what we were doing and i said "watching trading spaces". she hung up on me. true story

After watching the original, my wife used to watch it I didn't, it's basically a show for people to destroy a room in the other person's house.

they let Carter and Ty (the carpenters) a chance to design the rooms and they both turned out better than most of the interior designers
