What if I told you that as you do repeat viewings (if that is your thing), Season 2 gets better and better (and 4 and 5 don't really age particularly well, especially 5), so that you will consider Season 2 almost the equal of Season 1 after about the 3rd run through?
It's just jarring the first time through. It was jarring for me. I had done a little research and the consensus was that Season 2 was "polarizing". I completely got that. I think I've watched it all the way through 4 or 5 times and Season 2 is the class of the series (next to Season 1, of course).
The Sobotkas, the Greek, Boris, Vondas? Just some great characters from that dock/international organized crime storyline.
