I don't remember either , but when he said "he decides he doesn't want to play anymore." I immediately thought "Spy Game"

He decides he doesn't want to play anymore.

Many of us probably share the main skill employed by the hero in acquiring vital intelligence.

I remember trying to acquire intelligence in a similar manner. I'm sure others did too.

It's one of my favorite tv shows on right now. And they are not father and son.
