I don't like unfunny shows with laugh tracks. In fact, I don't like unfunny shows. Whitney says it's filmed in front of a live studio audience. Those people are easily amused.

IDK about dumbest, although I wouldn't argue against it.
Jim Parsons is certainly the biggest assface on tv, that's not even debatable.

But let's take Modern Family, a show that doesn't have a laugh track. Modern Family is a traditional sitcom, despite the lack of a laugh track and its use of multiple cameras. It doesn't get bonus points for being edgy for ditching the laugh track. So what? It still uses traditional plots and characters. It's not pushing boundaries anymore than Big Bang Theory, and its ridiculous to say its a better show due to its "edgier" form. It's not.
Big Bang Theory is a traditional sitcom. So? How is that a criticism? I think the show has lost steam, but its also in, what? It's sixth season? The Office has lost steam as well, it doesn't mean it wasn't a great show at its peak.

I've only seen maybe 6 episodes of BBT, but I feel Sheldon is one of the most entertaining characters on TV. He just has a presence and way about him that his personality, mannerisms, and way of speech stick with you.
If I watch the Big Bang Theory again it will be because of him. Because of the actor.

I am sure you are counting the original ending as the last season but the new cast had the same name and most of the characters so yes, the last season was still Scrubs and what they did to JD and Turk was ugly.

that was med school. Different show. The hallway scene which was the best in tv history was the series finale.

Almost all the same actors, character and series name. No, it was Scrubs and as I have said, the final season actually grew on me once JD left. The only bad part about the interns was the stupid rent-a-cop duo.

Yeah, who can keep up with the humor on The Big Bang Theory. Just comedic genius running through the plot line each week.
Next week on The Big Bang Theory: some character that is a nerd will finally have an opportunity to have sex. Laughter ensues when everyone realizes that he has no clue what he's doing and will seek an intervention from his friends to help him explore the interworkings of a lady. Then, insert character shows up with a pie chart/power point presentation and laughter continues to ensue because of how the nerd that needs sex tips is getting even nerdier tips.
