Clone Wars Saved

Article giving basically everything we know so far. Unless there has been news since that I have missed.

I'm also late to the party after hearing nothing but positives and I just watched the first two episodes last night.

If I'm being honest, I'm struggling with it. I find the dialogue, especially between the droids, to be clunky at best and cringeworthy at worst. It's like a bad kids show on Nickelodeon. Is this how it is the whole time?

The droids do stay dumb.

The show improves as it progresses. Ahsoka goes from aggravating kid to one of the best characters in Star Wars, period.

Clone Wars and Rebels are amazing.

Ezra: I don't fear you

Vader: Then you will die braver than most

There was a handful of filler episodes in Clone Wars too it seemed like.

There were a ton of filler episodes in Clone Wars. It went for 6 seasons and some of those seasons were 20+ episodes. Clone Wars was great though.

Rebels is pretty awesome. Rebels is one of the few Star Wars things Disney has got post purchase from Lucas.

Ok. I'll stay with it then. Yea, I thought she was cheesy too so far.

Maul: Look what has become of you, a rat in the desert.

Kenobi: Look what I have risen above.

(a few moments later)

Maul: Why you come to this place? Not simply to hide. Oh, you have a purpose here. Perhaps you are protecting something? No... protecting someone.

Kenobi: *Ignites saber*

I love that scene too. Maul tried to use the same move he killed Qui-Gon with and Obi-Wan knew the perfect counter.

Obi-Wan baited him into using it too. He initially went into his traditional Soresu stance, but switched to Qui-Gon's Ataru right before Maul attacked.
