I like Shameless so had high hopes for this show. It has been fair, but not great.
Rosie is not too big a presence or annoying. If Rosie wasn't Rosie, you'd say the old lady who plays the crazy mom does a pretty good job.

The main character is so awful it’s hard to watch now. Once that stuff happened with her kid in episode 4 I think, the character has been pretty unbearable. The rest of the cast and characters are actually all pretty good and interesting.
