I also loved that scene. We need a spinoff Dave the stoner show.
It's kind of crazy how unlikable most of the characters were in this show, but likeable at the same time. I guess that means that they were "real." They basically made bad decisions throughout the show and melted down when it all blew up, but who among us, right?
Brenda is horrible for most of the show but by the last season I started to feel sympathetic towards her. Kind of same with Billy.
I think that Ruth was probably my favorite character. I liked her quirkiness, and she seemed to have the most backbone of anyone.
I enjoyed the early 2000s nostalgia of the show. Right before the cell phone/social media era. It also approached sjw stuff in a raw, grounded, and realistic way, much more relatable to the average person than pretty much anything you see today. Different world these days.
