What a fricking idiotic statement .... I never regret seeing a film in a theater good or bad. Same applies to a game in a stadium or a concert in a venue

Having a big screen, I generally wait for the DVD. Player is hooked into a component system so good sound quality. Concessions are a lot cheaper, don't have to worry about getting shot at, no worries about assholes talking during the movie, no concerns about whether the person sitting in the seat before me had head lice, if I want to go to the bathroom can stop the movie and come back. Use to enjoy the movie experience, but not a thrilling these days.

Everyone has a big screen these days. And while the points you make aren’t false, there’s still nothing like seeing a movie meant for the theater in the theater with the huge screen and massive surround sound, especially for movies like Interstellar or Blade Runner 2049, etc.
