INSP has been running a marathon this weekend.

Most of his movies were as formulaic as they come but there's something statisfying seeing the good guys win. The final scene of his final film "Ride The High Country" with Joel McCrea, Warren Oates and Mariette Hartley is maybe the best death scene ever put to film.

The series w/star Scott, director Budd Boetticher and writer Burt Kennedy is as good as any western series, including Wayne/Ford, Stewart/Mann and Eastwood/Leone.

I love watching Randolph Scott movies, he's right behind John Wayne for me, but I can't get the thought out of my head about him and ole Cary Grant back in the day. LINK.

Been watching the Grit channel on Dish for sometime now. Enjoy the old westerns. My dad would have approved.
