And my 11 yr old is watching with me.
He's so fricked
He's as old as I was when I saw it in 1983 and it fricked my world up. Welcome to manhood my boy!

Actually just set that to dvr. I need to get around to buying it, have always meant to. My girlfriends mother owns a prop from the film.

Great family horror film
Too bad Hollywood doesn't make horror movies for families anymore

Every time I see Dominique Dunne (RIP) come home with a hickey, I can't help but say, "Why you little slut!"

Fantastic movie. Beyond it being scary and fun, it also had that sense of wonder and suburbia that Speilberg worked with so well . He only helped produce the film, but it had his imprint upon it heavily, which it why it was so enjoyable. Loved Craig T. Nelson and JoBeth Williams in it...and the little lady.

No, it's actually the wardrobe that the mother wore at the end of the film when in the pool.
